Flying Hot air balloons in London's congested air space and its perimeter is only possible with permission from many different regulatory bodies and with a weather forecast that plays along with the chosen day. Consequently, it is not practical to offer hot air balloon rides over London and therefore we thoroughly enjoy meeting clients from London who make the relatively short journey down the M3/M4 to meet us in the former ancient capital, Winchester. Hampshire is a beautiful county to fly over with much to see from 2000ft such as the Isle of Wight encircled by the Solent, Gunwharf Quays at Portsmouth, the Hogs Back near Guildford, the sunshining off the buildings at Canary Wharf and the Ridgeway which is part of the North Hampshire downs. We generally get a good view of Winchester, and we fly over farms, villages, rivers and country houses and there is always an abundance of wildlife.
